In addition to a quality existing labor pool, Polk County is a Work Ready Certified County, thus allowing relocated or existing industries access to a pre-qualified workforce based on the popular ACT Work Keys scoring method.
Polk County Works with Industry to provide specifically skilled workers to business through partnerships with the Polk School District, Georgia Northwestern Technical College, Georgia Work Ready initiative and other state and federal agencies.
