Georgia Power contracted with Janus Economics, a well respected and experienced site consulting firm, to perform a community assessment of Polk County's current economic conditions and trends. The consultants were in the community for two days where they toured the area and conducted confidential interviews, focus groups with elected officials, business owners, city/county employees, and other stakeholders. The assessment includes four parts:

• Economic Development-SWOT Analysis
• Target Industry Analysis
• Marketing Recommendations
